5 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped 1 small green bell pepper, chopped 2 medium jalapeño chiles, seeded and minced 1/4 cup minced white onion 2 medium scallions, thinly sliced 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro 1 garlic clove, minced 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/8 teaspoon pepper
In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover, and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Makes about 3 cups salsa.
